SAINT JOSEPH'S MEN'S CLUB
INFORMATION
The SJMC was organized on May 25, 1954 to encourage and develop the spiritual, athletic, recreational and social interests of the men and grammar school age children of St. Joseph’s parish.
In a practical sense this translates into a great sports program for the grammar school age children of the parish and a fun time for the adults. SJMC offers recreational, instructional and competitive programs across a wide range of sports and games including basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, golf, and kickball.
The adult basketball league for men plays twice a week during the school year.
Adult coed volleyball is under consideration for the 2011-2012 school year. Please indicate your interest by sending us a note through the contact us page.
Social events include the Parish Christmas party, the St. Patrick’s Day Dance, the annual cruise around Manhattan, and various gatherings coincident with major sporting events such as the NFL Championship series and the Final Four.
Spiritual events include the parent/child Communion breakfast, Holy Thursday prayer vigil and the Annual Day of Reconciliation.
Who is eligible to join?
Any male, 18 years of age or over, who is a member of St. Joseph’s Parish or whose spouse is a member of the Parish is invited to join.
What are the annual dues?
The annual dues are $50.00 per person.
